Everyone is welcome to attend Christian Science church services and testimony meetings. Service and meeting hours vary and may be found listed under each local church or by calling the phone number in the Yellow Pages. Sunday Service
Each Sunday, the same sermon is read in
Christian Science churches throughout the world. The sermon is read by
two lay readers and consists of passages from the Bible and from the
Christian Science textbook, Science
and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. The
service also includes the Lord's prayer, a solo, a collection, and hymns
sung by the congregation. The lesson sermon subjects for the services in the
current month are:
November 3 Everlasting Punishment
Wednesday Testimony Meeting
Scriptural selections from
the Bible and passages from the Christian Science
textbook are read by the first reader. Hymns of gratitude
are sung by the congregation and individuals share their
experiences that show the healing power of God in daily
life through the practical application of Christian
