  • Maryl Walters, a Christian Science teacher and international lecturer will speak on the subject Healing Violence through Divine Love on Saturday, March 24, at 3:00 pm in The Delaplaine Arts Center, 40 S Carroll St., Frederick.  She will discuss and give examples from her public ministry of how she has seen this divine Love bring peace, strength, and health to families and communities.  She will explore fresh concepts from the Bible, especially from the life and teachings of Christ Jesus.  She’ll also draw on Mary Baker Eddy’s main work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, a book based on the Bible that explains how anyone can experience the power of divine Love in action.  For further information, see the flyer or contact Joey Hoffman at 240-285-5691 or joeymomcs@gmail.com

  • A live webinar will take place on Thursday, April 19 at 7:00 pm EDT. The title is The Healing Power of Stillness. The speaker is Lari Snorek-Yates, a Christian Science practitioner and international lecturer. This talk focuses on finding a deep-settled calm within ourselves that cannot be disrupted by fear or any outward disturbance.   • Learn to Pray and Heal (a Spiritual Adventure) is the subject of a free one hour public talk on Saturday, April 21 at 3:00 pm in the Eastport-Annapolis Neck Library, 269 Hillsmere Dr., Annapolis. The speaker is Christian Science practitioner and lecturer Nate Frederick. Take a journey exploring insights from the Bible and the writings of Mary Baker Eddy. Accompanied by a rich visual presentation, this lecture displays the healing effect of faith, spiritual understanding and unselfed love.
